Flow cytometry platform
The platform has been created in 2008. It is a structure open to external teams with the mission of:
- being a service provider performing “routine” assays and developing tailored tests for the clients
- continuously proposing the most cutting-edge validated tests, coming from our own R&D programs.
The platform is working under GCLP and is composed of 2 analysers (BD, LSR II) enabling the detection of 13 parameters. They are equipped with High Throughput Sampler system, enabling the testing of large collections of cells in short periods of time.
In June 2009, a cell sorter will attach to the platform. The sorter will enable minimum 12 parameters reading, will be placed in BL2+ facility and will be equipped with multisorting modes and aerosol capture system.
Cellular assays include phenotypic and functional characterisation of PBMC subpopulations (antigen-specific, cytokine producing, memory, regulatory, …), leukocyte subsets enumeration, cell cycle and apoptosis analysis.
